Foods to complement your dietary requirements for diabetes.

Have you ever considered how to manage your diabetes through nutrition?  At KitchenJoy we can give you insight into creating balanced meals to satisfy both the needs of your body and your tastebuds! 

Scientific evidence shows us that the right nutrition can support medical interventions in the management of long term health conditions such as diabetes.  Through the right knowledge and know how KitchenJoy can help you to incorporate healthy and delicious foods into your daily eating regime to help your body to thrive. 

Our one day medicinal cookery class is an introduction to nutritional cooking which incorporates the healthiest foods into exciting and tasty recipes in a simplistic way, providing the first step to optimum nutrition. You will learn to cook a wide range of simple, healthy dishes using fresh and easily available ingredients; discovering the medicinal benefits of food groups for your health along the way.

Sample recipes will include:
Blueberry fruit smoothie,
Grilled pear, watercress & walnut salad,
Wild caught salmon with sauce vierge
Sea salt & dark chocolate quinoa energy balls.

Our hands-on cookery classes at Kitchen Joy’s Kitchen in Chiswick include the ingredients, food preparation and cooking equipment, and soft drinks. You will prepare and cook dishes around the Kitchen Joy island and can enjoy eating your dishes together with the group on the long dining table. There will also be some left over foods for you to take home to share with your loved ones.
